The Anger Of Old People
Chapter 6
Cursing himself Colin gingerly got up. Everything hurt, especially his elbow. He had woken on the ground of the basement, covered in dirt and an aching pain near his shoulder. He spun in a slow circle trying to make out what was around him. He was really bad at seeing in the dark. "Dude! you got caught to!" Colin heard Simon voice but could not see him, as he babbled away, Colin squinted at the place where he seemed to sit. "Wow! I thought I was donezo when she threw me in here. God she is so freaky! Where is Connie and Fria? Jeez this place is the worst, I haven't been able to move really well and I'm pretty sure I'm sitting in cat pee." "Okay do not freak out but I have no idea where Fria or connie are." "Figures!" "Hey!" Simon snickered in his corner. Colin slid to the ground again, he didn't know how Simon seemed to still be annoying in a situation like this. Simon was about to say something else when a blinding light flashed on. "AGH put that light out!" Simon yelped, jumping onto his side and overing his eyes. Colin adjusted to the light quicker because he had't been in there as long. The old lady from before walked in. Colin froze yawning midway, fear took ahold of his system, not for himself but for the others. She grasped Simon and pulled out a long thin stick. Simon tried to back away but he could not. That's when Colin got a good look at Simon, his eye bleeding and tears mixed with both blood and salt. did... did the lady poke out his eye in the struggle? Colin felt anger arise in him once more. The lady said a few words and did a tricky movement with the stick. Simon became rigid, only his eyes moved. The Lady dragged him out, then switched out the light. Colin found himself engulfed in darkness once more. He had a strange feeling the woman was someone he knew. Or something like that. To tired to think, he drifted off to sleep.
The woman's face firmly stuck inside his mind.
