What a beautiful night sky! I'm sure everyone will agree with this. Things that cannot be reached have always been interesting and attractive to people. Therefore, in this section of Astronomy everyone will find something new and unusual for themselves.

New year 2023 is coming! Therefore, I will tell you about the most spectacular celestial phenomena that will occur in 2023.

January 4, 2023

Quadrantids - one of the strongest meteor showers of the year, also known for its fireballs. It is better to observe it 1-2 hours after the moon has set. Can be seen in the northern hemisphere.

February 1, 2023

Bright comet С/2022 Е3 (ZTF). The comet will get as close as possible to Earth and become bright enough to be seen with binoculars or even with the naked eye. It will become the brightest comet in 2023. Can be seen in the northern hemisphere.

April 20, 2023

Hybrid solar eclipse. This eclipse combines two types of eclipse (total and annular), which replace each other as the shadow of the Moon moves across the surface of the Earth. Very rare eclipse. Can be seen in Australia, Indonesia, East Timor.
