The Aftermath
When the fires were all put out, the villagers all rebelled against the king for trying to harm them and trying to burn their village. So the people had him exiled and they put the Count in charge of the village.
The Count and Emmasina had fallen in love with one another and she had moved into the count's castle and they are both very happy. The castle has never been more lively. Filled with music and dancing.
The couple eventually got married and had twins who were named Lei and Lai. A Boy and a Girl.
When the children started to get older they asked their mother how she met their father and Emmasina and started the tale with a Soldier, a Poet, and a King.
On the anniversary of their wedding the Count and Countess spend all day and night dancing.
