The Fight

After the king was rejected by Emmasina and returned to her village, he vowed to get revenge for his suffering.

He gathered up his royal army and they marched to the village with torched determined to make her the last of the villagers.

When the count received a massage from the king saying he was coming to ruin the village he came down the mountain on horseback by himself determined to save the village.

The homes and shops in the village were being burned around Emmasina and she lept into action trying to save as many people as she can from the fires. 

The count had been doing the same when they both heard a scream from a lovely older lady who had noticed the kindness of both people and given them matching roses and they will see their true love when the roses meet.

When looking in the shop for the elderly lady their red eyes met and both felt their heart beat much faster.

When the lady was out safely the count had noticed a small red rose in Emmasina's hair, and she had noticed a small red rose in the jacket pocket of the count. 

Emmasina was moved by the courage and kindness of the count and they both knew they were eachother's true love.
