The Count
The count of Wallachia was a very lonely man, but he cared deeply for the people in the village.
He lived in a dark castle just atop of a mountain and had select staff working for him.
He did not truly believe in love just witnessing the pain his own mother had gone through whie being with his own father.
His father had ignored his mother all his life and his mother was in pain.
When Vladamir had heard that the king was coming to his village he decided to go to the town center for the parade and welcome him.
After travelling so far doen the mountain the king was already present, he stood in the back crowds of his people and he noticed the king holding a women's hand and announced that she was going to be his queen.
Vladamir saw Emmasina's red eyes and he felt like he had known her his entire life, but he knew she would have a better life being a queen than compared to a lowly countess.
After some days the count returns to the village and out the corner of his eye he sees Emmasina enter the village and head staright to a bakery to pick up bread.
Vlad asks some nearby villagers why she came back to the village and they had told him about how she does not want to be his queen. "His only love is the crown and taxes."
The count gets an erie feeling in the pit of his stomache and decides to spend some time in the village before going back to his castle.
