The Soldier
" There will come a soldier, who carries a mighty swoard. He will tear your city down, oh lei, oh lai, oh lord."
When Emmasina was 18, she was the most beautiful young lady in all of Wallachia, Romania. She caught the eyes of a renowned soldier who had promised to marry her when he came back from a military campaign.
After months of rigarious fighting, the soldier had returned but not as the same man Emmasina rembered him as. He was much more rough with her, talking to her with force.
He told Emmasina that if she did not marry him within the year he will tear down her entire village and kill all of her people.
The soldier spent many of his days drinking in taverns and sleeping around.
After a few months of this behaviour, other soldiers that were apart of the campaign came to light with information of war crimes that were comited by the main soldier. He was eventually captured and Imprisoned and eventually exiled to a different country.
Emmasina had moved on from him and spent time looking after the people of her village.
