Y1 L3: How to train your snap dragon
Chapter 3
Basic plant needs:
Every plant has their own set of special needs and qualities. For example, some plants need lots of sunlight, whereas too much sunlight may kill certain plants.
Sunlight:
The amount of sunlight a plant needs varies. So when planting a plant, you need to ensure it is positioned in a spot where it gets the right amount of sunlight. You also need to consider the amount of sunlight produced throughout the day, as it may alter depending on whether it's morning, noon or night.
Water:
Just like sunlight, water too is different for the type of plant you're watering. Some plants require watering every day, where as others can go for weeks without water.
Soil:
It may come as a surprise, but soil has different nutrient levels, dependent on the area it is planted in. We refer to this as PH levels. Luckily as magical folk, we have a charm that can help us out with finding the PH levels.
