NOTE: These notes alone won't get you an E or O, you do need to look over the actual lesson. Use these notes as a study tool for studying or completing OPEN book quizzes. Y3 L1-L9 notes are in the progress of being taken. For now, they are unedited so do expect some spelling and grammar mistakes until I fully revise them.

Y2 L6: The Dark Side of the Moon Flower

Chapter 16

Gloomy Growths:
Greenhouse number two is home to various dangerous plants such as Shadowmoss, Devil's Snare and Vampire Vines. The room has been enchanted with artifical moonlight, meaning they can be sustained year round, which enables a lot of opportunities.

Livin' After Midnight:

Growing nocturnal plants requires expertise using the Darkening Charm. To make them continue blooming throughout the day, use the Charm to block out most of the moonlight. Alternatively, you can grow them in a dark room  such as the dungeons. Provide artificial light such as moonlight or Luminescent Liquid. However, in doing this the nocturnal plants will only grow at night. To care properally for these plants, regular watering and repotting should be done. Harvested plants will might require tinted vials.
