A Magical Collection
My grandmother had a wonderful collection of magical art in her home, I would say only second that of Hogwarts. In this book I'll talk about my favourite paintings, sculptures and photographs from her collection. (THIS IS NOT A TEXTBOOK) This book is complete.

The Photographs
Chapter 5
Even my father enjoy the photographs in my grandmothers collection, assumably because they can’t talk back at him.
The earliest are muggle photographs. In the 1840’s, the adventurous sisters Karen and Sigrid Skeri decided to try out this new muggle thing called photography that they had read about. (Note that magical development solution was not invented until 1893.) Without their parents knowledge they “borrowed” some brooms and flew to England to meet Henry Fox Talbot, a pioneer in the field of photography. It was a long and dangerous journey as they flew across the stormy North sea. When they arrived at Talbots he greeted the far-away travellers warmly. Talbot managed to take a photograph of the sisters where they sit beside each other, holding hands. They had to sit still for a very long time without moving because the session took ages. When they returned home their parents were furious, but when the sisters presented them with the photograph they were stunned. The sisters were dressed in an assortment of muggle clothes. Karen is wearing a top hat and a frock coat over her plaid skirt that barely covers her knees - and she is wearing polka-dot stockings! Sigrid is wrapped in a piece of lace, looking a bit like an Egyptian mummy, trying to cover her robes. She is also wearing a hat that looks like a teapot!
In the collection there are many amateur photographs taken by family members. A small boy that tries to ride on a broomstick, but he always fall of, climb up again and fall of. A snapshot of a woman in a state of undress that tries to cover herself with a towel, always furious and blushing.---
And this is the end of my book. I hope you enjoyed it!
