- Magic was an important part of their culture
- Epic of Gilgamesh - Gilgamesh was a wizard
- Phoenicia
- Highly magical culture
- Form of writing called Phoenician
- Used magical wood in their boats
- Boats were protected by charms
- Phoenician spells were done ritually and wandlessly
- Indus River Valley
- Highly magical
- Almost 80% of their artifacts have magic
- Magic here was much more refined
- Caste system was just starting
- The Brahmin protected the villagers from the Lahoo Vampires
