We drove for a little while, and soon I woke her up. She mumbled, but woke up. 

“We're here.” I told her. She doesn't answer but grabs her leg, wincing.

I drove through the gates of the base, and saw emergency tents. I yelled at one of the nurses,

“Somebody help! I have a girl here and she's hurt.”

They took her on a stretcher and I tried to keep up.

I followed them in as far as I could go, and waited for news from the doctors.

I felt like I waited for hours, I soon fell asleep. I got jolted by a doctor and told the news.

“Her injuries were moderate, she should heal in a few days.”

“Can I see her?” I ask, a bit relieved.

They have a dimly lit room with beds scattered around, the doctor leads me to a bed with a curtain closed around it. 

I see the girl, bruises and cuts all over her, as well as a leg cast. She was unconscious but she still looked pretty. I sat down in a chair next to her bed and waited.
