I see my mom at the bottom, and her twisted body is no longer moving. I choke back a sob as my body shakes. I cry even more when I see the flowers I planted with my dad, peeking out from the wreckage. I stop and think, he's down there.

I collapse in sobs, not realizing the creatures emerging from the sinkhole. I hear thumps, and I look up horrified to see the creatures from my nightmare. 

The hideous tentacles and giant-like bodys were terrifying, ripping at everything and anything in its path. I sprinted away as fast as possible trying to outrun them. 

They were fast. I got spotted while I was running and ducked into a house to hide myself. I ran in and sat down, my heart beating. I took some deep breaths to calm myself and looked over at the T.V, and it's talking about what's going on.

“Mysterious sinkholes are appearing all over the world and causing destruction. People are naming the monsters `Rhoamers` based on the new horror movie. Everyone go to MaCarthur Army base, they will provide food, shelter, and medicine. Switching back to the Weather Channel…” 

I switched it off as I tried to wrap my head around this and not cry.
