I walked into my house, looking at my wife, Artemis, cooking. I hauled in the groceries and put them on the floor, went up to her and kissed her neck. She leans her head back and kisses me, but we are interrupted by our kid, Avery.
She ran up to me as fast as her two-year-old legs could take her. I scooped her up and threw her up in the air, her giggling. I cradle her and nuzzle her face as I hug my wife and her.
