Chapter 10
The day of their wedding
Flashbacks come back to me of when we started dating, as I get helped into my dress, a baby blue dress. I look myself over in the mirror, just five years ago we got together. I take deep breaths and smile. This is my special day.
Ten minutes later, I walked up to the aisle and took in Artemis, my soon to be wife, in her tux. She was gorgeous. I tried to hide my blush as I walked down the aisle.
I stepped into the gazebo, and I stood there holding my bouquet. We smiled at Thomas, who I hired to marry us, as he said,
“Willow, do you take Artemis to be your lawfully wedded wife, to hold her in peace or war, sickness and health?”
“I do.” I answer, smiling at Artemis.
“Artemis, do you take Willow to be your lawfully wedded wife, to hold her in peace or war, sickness and health?”
“I do.” She answered looking straight at me.
“Then you may kiss the bride.”
I took her in my arms and kissed her, while flower petals were raining all around us. I guess we all get our happy ending after all.
