Narcissa grew up with Draco Malfoy, who proved to be her first best friend and crush. She could laugh with him all day, playing as they were younger and studying books on Magic as they grew to their first year.

Like always, Narcissa got her letter. It was identical to Draco's and Mrs Malfoy bought books for them - and got Narcissa hooked. She would spend hours practising her magic, perfecting wrist movements and taking notes on all studies. Then the sorting came. The hat muttered into her ear "Hmm, hmm, let's see...oh, ooh my! A brilliant mind, yes, yes, maybe Ravenclaw..? Hmm....A bit brave, yes, and not headstrong like Gryffindors...but this mind is certainly lacking kindness...oh well, not Hufflepuff. But ambitious and determined, yes - she will go far. Ah, Slytherin. Slytherin it shall be." and Narcissa was sorted into her desendants house.

Draco joined her later but made firm friends with Pansy Parkinson, a girl which later became his girlfriend. Narcissa felt like an outcast. She attended studies - and that was it. She wished with all her might to have someone...anyone who could talk to her. Then, she met someone who changed her life. Andromeda Riddle.

"Hi, I'm Andromeda. Shall we be friends?" She asked, Narcissa was shocked. No one had done that. She nodded quickly and they became best of friends. They hosted tournaments, opened groups and led a firm friendship - something that Narcissa needed so much.
