Everybody was gathered up in the great hall for the sorting ceremony. One by one, the students got sorted. 

"Hermione Granger"

Dumbledore called. My sister was called. 

"GRYFFINDOR!!"

I was proud of her. She was a Gryffindor just like mom and dad. 

"y/n Granger!"

Dumbledore finally called me. 

Gryffindor, Gryffindor, Gryffindor, Griffindor"

I thought. 

"SLYTHERIN!"

My heart stopped. I spotted Hermione's shocked face from the Gryffindor table. 

"There must be some mistake, something must be wrong-"

"The hat is never wrong"

I silently proceeded to the Slytherin table. 

"hi! I'm Pansy Parkinson!! Do you wanna be friends?"

A girl asked. I smiled at her. 

"Sure! I'm y/n!"

I said. A boy seated next to Pansy scoffed.

"Why would you want to befriend that mudblood?"

He said. 

"Who is he?"

I asked Pansy. 

"Do you not know who I am?"

He asked. 

"why do you think I asked?"

I said sarcastically. He smirked. 

"don't get too comfy here. You're not a real Slytherin."

He insulted. 

"You can call him Malfoy"

Pancy told me.
