One look at the castle and I gasped. It was amazing. I can't even begin where to start it. We arrived at the shore and Tom helped me get out. Tom, Sally, and I found our way to the door. We went up a few flights of stairs to see a witch at the top in front of big doors. I didn't really pay attention to what she said; I was too busy staring around at the castle. Soon she came back.

"We're ready for you now," she said.

We walked through the doors and saw four big tables with students seated around them. At the front there was a stool with a patched up hat sitting on it. The witch started calling our names. Finally, she said,

"Tom Riddle."

Tom walked up. The hat wasn't even one foot from his head when the hat yelled,

"Slytherin!!"

The Slytherin table erupted with cheers as Tom went to sit with them. A little while later the witch called,

"Viper Snake."

The whole hall went silent then erupted in whispers. I walked up to the stool, sat down and the hat was placed on my head.

'Hmmmmmm......... very difficult, very difficult indeed.......hmmmmmmm........... very brave I see, intelligent, loyal, but where should you go? Ravenclaw or Gryffindor? Hmmmmmmmm...........'

The hat thought for a while. Evertone was staring at me. After a long time it shouted,

"RAVEN- GRYFFINDOR!!!!"

I smiled and went and sat at the Gryffindor table as they clapped and cheered. Sally had been sorted into Gryffindor too! Sudenly, the plates all filled with food and we dug in. Sally, who was sitting across from me, was eating a chicken leg when she said,

" You know, if I was writing a book do you know what I would call this chapter?" she asked me.

" No. What would you call it?" I asked.

"The hat's difficult choise!" she exclaimed.

We all laughed.
