Anyways, when September first finally came Tom and I were ready. We got Cindy to drive us to King Cross Station. She looked around like she she'd been here before. Tom and I escaped Cindy and got to platform... 9 and 10.

"That's weird." I said. "Where's platform 9 3/4?

"Maybe there isn't one." shrugged Tom.

I walked over between platforms 9 and 10 and leaned up against the wall. I suddenly fell through. I stumbled and regained my balance. The Hogwarts Express blew it's whistle and a steady stream of smoke blew out of the to of the train.

 I jumped back through and looked around for Tom. I saw him asking a guard questions.

"Tom!" I shouted. "I found it!" Tom looked over and nodded at me smiling. He ran over to me and we walked through to the Hogwarts Express. We boarded the train right when it started moving.  We found a compartment by ourselves and sat and talked what Hogwarts might be like. When the trolly came by Tom and I bought Berrty Bot's every flavor beans. A girl opened the door. She had brown hair with blonde streaks, one blue eye and one green eye, and a splash of freckles across her nose.

"Hello," she said. "I'm Sally Hofstater. You should really change into your robes. The train is about to stop. Oh and do you mind if I sit with you two?"

"I don't mind." I said shrugging.

We sat and talked for a while.

"We better get off." Sally said.

We grabbed our stuff and headed out. Some one was yelling for the first years to get into some boats. Tom, Sally, and I followed and climbed into a boat with another girl.

"My names Athson. Brinty Athson." The girl said holding out her hand.

I looked right into her eyes. I could tell she wasn't the type of friend I would want.She sneered at Sally.

"Thanks, but I've got better things to do than hang with your sort."I said to her.

Then the castle came into view.

"I wonder if this is a dream."Tom said starring at the castle in awe.

"Then this is one crazy dream." I said back.
