Chapter 2

Components of spell casting



  • Concentration

  • Willpower

  • Wand Movement

  • Incantation


The vermillious Charm



  • Offers temporary light source, can also reveal objects that have been hidden by dark magic


Incantation- Verdimillious (vur-duh-MILL-ee-us)


Wand Movement- Two different ones 


Offensive type: 



  • Will shoot green sparks out of the tip of wand, which will fly at your opponenet and explode around them 

  • Opponent will expirience a slight stinging sensation


Wand Movement- Forward slash, ends with wand pointed at opponent


Illumination Type:



  • Shoot green light out of the wand, will soar towards the ceiling and explode in a bright green flash 

  • Will temporarily illuminate the area and create an outline of any objects that have been concealed by dark magic.

  • Only last short time

  • Can extend the light for a few seconds more by pushing more willpower into the spell 


Wand Movement- Wave wand in a circular motion over your head that is not aimed at anything in particular 


Concentration- Concentrate on the green light you wish to create while pushing willpower in to the spell


Willpower- Low


The revealing charm



  • Two variants, two purposes (Enchantment revealing charm)


Wand movement- Tap on object


Incantation-  Aparecium (ah-par-EH-see-um)


Concentration- Focus on desired effect, push willpower into spell


Willpower- Minimal 


Outcomes- Nothing will happen, Hidden object will glow purple temporarily and reveal hidden thing for about 5 minutes before concealing again
