"Boot,Lisa" Mcgonagall calls out. The girl goes and sits on the stool.

Finally, my name is called.

The sorting hat is placed on my head as I sit on the stool. Suddenly the sorting hat starts talking to me. "We'll, your smart and brave and loyal but better be..."

"GRIFINNDOR"

I run down to the Grifinndors table, my table now, and laugh and joke with them. Lily is sorted into Grifinndor as well and she comes and sits next to me. Finally, "Xavier, Colin" is sorted into Hufflepuff and the feast begins. Me and Lily stuff our faces with food until we can hold no more and then we run up to the common room. "Fortuna Major," I say to the Fat Lady and she swings open. We run up to our dorm and put all our things in the right places and then went down to the common room and got our timetables. We have Charms after breakfast at 9:00, and then Potions. Me and Lily go to bed after a couple of hours because we're tired and it's nearly 12:00. I write to mum and dad and then fall asleep.
