I wake up early in the morning very excited. I brush my teeth quickly before putting the toothbrush and toothpaste back in my toiletry bag and putting that in my suitcase. Then I get dressed and lug my bags downstairs and eat a quick breakfast before me and mum have to leave to get to Kings Cross in England. It's an hours drive to the airport and another hours flight to England. By the time we get to Kings Cross we're nearly late. I hug mum and tell her I'll write tonight before running through the wall into platform 9 and three quarters. I jump on the train and goblooking for a compartment to sit in. I walk into a compartment with a red haired girl in it and a couple of boys. "Hello."I say timidly."Can I sit there???? " "Yea, sure!! My names Lily Potter, what's yours? I'm new too, I can't wait!!!" Oh, cool I think it's Harry Potters daughter!!! She gestures for me to sitcdown. I do and reply "My name's Hazel Murphy, I'm from Ireland and I'm Muggle-born, I've read all the Harry Potter books though so I know everything about the school. Not really, though actually just a small bit!!!" Lily smiles and we talk a lot. I promise to lend her the Harry Potter books and we decide to be friends. She tells me all about her family and I tell her all about mine. By the time we get to Hogshead station its dark and cold. We pull on our robes and per ininstructions leave our luggage on the train. We follow Hagrids voice and climb into the boats. The water is calm tonight and as we cross me and Lily catch a glimpse of the giant squid. When we enter the school, the Headmistress (Mcgonagall) makes us line up in a straight line. Then we walk into the Great

Hall and line up. Then the sorting hat sings it's song and the sorting begins.
