Next week

No luck on my past. I have however had bits of flashbacks but nothing I can really make out.  Snape has been in them a couple of times though. As well as some other people who I don't know. He is ignoring me as well. It shouldn't bug me but it does. I'm going to confront him about it. Class was over and I hurried down to the dungeons where his class was. I passed by other students. Many of them were Slytherin. They scoffed at me. I walked in to Snape's class. I took a deep breath.

He sat at his desk and looked up. He grunted. I looked to see if anyone was around. No one was. "Snape what the hell?" I asked. "Watch you mouth" he said. "What is going on?! You're ignoring me" I said. My god I probably sound like a whiny bitch. "You ignore me in class, you ignore my questions, and you're ignoring me now" I said. He put his quill down and rose from his desk. He sharply turned and came down the steps. He flicked his wand and I heard the door slam. What in the world? He was pissed or does he also look like that? "You despicable girl! Just because you have a bloody question doesn't mean I have to answer it! Ask Miss Granger! She knows every book in the library" he said loudly. "Well maybe I wanted to talk to you about it! Maybe I wanted your help" I said. Oops. I covered my mouth. "What?" He asked. "N-nothing, sir" I managed to say. It went silent. "What I meant to say was, I would appreciate your help, sir" I said. "I'm sorry Victoria, I've just had a lot on my mind" he said. "Anything I can help you sir?" I asked. He sighed, as if approving. "Possible" he said. "I may be able to help you find your past a little" he said. "Whatever I can do, Professor" I said. He smiled. Snape just freaking smiled! "First thing, please call me Severus" he said. "Severus?" I asked. He wants me to callhim by his first name? He gave a nod. "If you would like you can help me make some skelegrow. Who knows how the tournament is gonna go this year" he said. I nodded. "When do we start Severus?" I asked. It felt odd but it worked. He smiled again. "Well now if you can" he said. "Yeah, I'm not doing anything. I have a bit of homework, but it isn't due till later. And I have to write the assignment on herbology for your class" I said. "Eh, never mind it. Madame Sprout says you're doing excellent in the class, well actually all the teachers say that" he said. "Really?" I asked. "Yes, they say you're quiet a friendly student. To which I can agree" he said. "Aww, well thanks Snape. I mean Severus" I said. "It's fine" he said. "See if everyone saw this side of you-" I began. "No one can know of this side, no one knows about it" he said returning to his old self. "Oh, alright then" I said. I sat down a desk and pulled out my homework. Something fell out and fell to the floor.

I picked it up and examined it. Odd, this isn't mine. I turned it over and saw my name was on it. I opened it. It was a card of sorts. I opened it and small purple fireworks shot out. I giggled and watched them. They died out though. I looked down to the letter. It read:

Victoria,

Roses are red. Violets are blue(technically purple). Nothing is sweeter than you. Sorry this is a bit cheesy but hey, I'm cheesy guy. Wanna hang out later? -Fred

I chuckled and shook my head. I folded it back up and put it in my bag. Snape was standing watching me with a curious look. "Oh, uh, it's a just a card" I said. "From whom?" He asked. Excuse you? "If I may ask?" He added. "It's from Fred. Fred Weasley, I think he's a student of yours not sure if your the only potions masters here or not" I said. "I am" he said grimly. Whoa mood swing! Maybe he needs a hug. Oh god what kind of choice am I making. "You know what you need Professor" I said. "What I need?" He asked. I smirked. Am I going through with this? I stood from my seat. He wasn't far from me. I lunged and hugged him. "I think you need a hug" I said. He was taken back but remained. I stood there for a few seconds before I felt his arms wrap around me. "Maybe, maybe I do need a hug" he said. I smiled. It worked. "I knew it" I said. "Thank you Victoria. Now I think we should begin on the skelegrow" he said. He pulled back from the hug and turned to get cauldrons. "It seems I don't have any cauldrons in here" he said. He mumbled to himself. "Well maybe you have some in your quarters" I said. Well that's weird. "I actually think I do" he said. "I'll be back, don't snoop" he said pointing a finger at me. "I won't" I said. He raised an eyebrow. "I won't I promise Severus" I said with a smile. He nodded and left the room. What was there for me to snoop for? I sat down at the desk and began on my homework.

3 days later

Willow and I were walking down the hallway. "Miss Kenn, Miss Black" someone called. We both turned and saw Dumbledore. "Yes?" We asked. "Will you come with me?" He asked. "Sure" Willow said. I looked to her and gave her the wtf look. She shrugged.

We walked up to his office. I saw Mom, Dad, Oliver and Carrie. "Vikki!" Carrie yelled. "Hey Carrie" I said picking her up as she ran up to me. She hugged me tightly. I hugged her as well. I walked in the office. "Is everything alright?" I asked. "Oh yeah, I mean we just wanted to visit and see Hogwarts. And we'll meet your teachers, guess it's a parent thing" Mom said. "Oh hehe" I said. "Guess what Vikki?" Carrie asked. "What?" I asked looking to her. "I lost my tooth, see" she said pulling her lip down. I chuckled. "Yes, I do see" I said. There was a knock at the door. "Come in" Dumbledore said. The door flung open. "Albus!" A voice said angrily. I turned and saw it was Snape. He stopped in his tracks when he saw me. "I-I didn't know you had company. I'll come back" he said quickly turning and leaving. "Well that was weird" Mom said. "Yeah, uh, who was that?" Dad asked looking to Dumbledore. "Severus Snape, our potions master" Dumbledore said. "Slytherin" Dad said. "Yes, he is also the head of Slytherin" Dumbledore said. "Hey Vikki, can you give us a tour of the school while Mom and Dad talk with Professor Dumbledore?" Oliver asked. "Sure, if that's alright with you Professor?" I asked. "Sure, sure show them around. Take them to the kitchen I'm sure they are hungry from the strange journey here" Dumbledore said. Willow stepped up. "May I tag along with them?" She asked. "Of course" he said nodding. "Thanks" Willow said. I switched Carrie to my right side. Oliver ran up and grabbed my hand. We walked out of the office and walked down the stairs.

Severus was pacing back and forth. He noticed we were there and left. "Who was that?" Oliver asked. "That was Professor Snape, he teaches potions" I said. "You wanna go to the kitchen to get something to eat?" I asked. “Yeah!” He said. I looked at Willow. “Where the heck are the kitchens?” I asked her. She smiled. “This way!” She said. We walked to a hallway that I never used. We came up to a painting. “Umm. Wheres the door?” Oliver asked. “Right here! Now was it the apple for the pear?” Willow asked to herself. “What do you mean?” I asked. “I think its the pear.” She said looking back and smiling. “Gotta tickle the pear.” She said. Me and Oliver raised our eyebrows. Willow reached up and tickled the pear. It laughed and the painting swung open. “Wow! Magic is so cool!” Oliver said. I chuckled. "I'll be back don't want frighten the house elves" she said. I nodded. "So where you guys wanna go first?" I asked. Oliver shrugged. "Well we could to the Great Hall, maybe to see Hagrid, take you to various classes and see some magic" I said. "Awesome" Oliver said. "Seems like we have more mudbloods" someone said. I turned and saw Malfoy. I groaned. "Don't listen, both of you" I said to Carrie and Oliver. "Malfoy how about you-" I began. "Malfoy!" Someone sneered. I saw Snape. "Professor Snape" Malfoy said. "Apologize to her right this instant" Snape said. "Excuse me?" Malfoy asked. "Apologize to them, you know that's not a nice word" Snape said. The painting started to open behind us. Willow slipped out. “Oh wow bad timing” She said. Snape raised his eyebrow. Malfoy looked pissed.

"My father will hear about this" Malfoy said. Malfoy turned and hurried down the hall. Snape followed him with his eyes. He looked back to us. "Ten points from Slytherin"'he said. "Thanks, Professor" I said. He looked to us and nodded. He then looked to Carrie. I saw a small smile. "Hmm, and what is your name?" Snape asked Carrie. "I'm Carrie" she said shyly. "Hello Carrie. I'm professor Snape" he said. "Okay, whoa. I'm out. Meet you up in the common room" Willow said. She handed Oliver some food and left. I shifted Carrie. "Would you like to see some magic?" He asked. "Yes, sir!" Oliver said. "And who might you be?" Snape asked. "I'm Oliver" he said. Snape gave a small nod. "Now what do you think we should show them?" Snape asked looking to me. "Maybe some transfiguration. Maybe take them the dungeons and show them something with potions" I said. "Do you think I'm a wizard, Vikki?" Oliver asked. "You might as well be. Only a few more years till we find out" I said. He smiled. "Now if you would like, I can take you to show you some transfiguration. And you can demonstrate, Victoria" he said. "Oh, uh, alright, Professor" I said. We began to go to the dungeons but I heard Mom call our names. We went back to the clearing. "Victoria it's seems that we cannot stay for there is no rooms available. We'll be back closer to Christmas" Mom said. I slowly nodded. Dad looked to Snape. Awkward stare down. Like they knew each other or something. But how could they?

Mom hugged me and took Carrie from me. "Bye Vikki" Oliver said giving me a hug. "Bye Oli" I said. "Goodbye Professor Snape" Carrie said. "Goodbye Carrie" he said. I felt a small smile twist on my lips. But why?
