My parents died when I was very young and I got sent to the orphanage because I didn't have any other immediate family. I got adopted when I was 3, they made it official when I was 5 and I became a Knowle.

I don't have a great relationship with my parents mostly because I spent most of my time locked in my room reading. I was smart and with my parent's money and the fortune I got left with I was able to go to the best primary schools in the country.

When I got my letter I was quite surprised and yet excited. Hogwarts seemed like an odd name and the list of supplies I needed were quite odd as well.

Apparently, my biological mother had left some pretty detailed instructions to the orphanage to give to the lovely people who would have taken me under their wing. The letter explained where and how I could get to Diagon Alley, where I could get all my stuff, and how to get to Platform 9 3/4. 

Diagon Alley was packed with wizards and witches, Mother was very overwhelmed and looked like she might have fainted. We were going from shop to shop and decided to take a stop at a nice little candy store called Honeydukes. They had all kinds of crazy off-the-wall candies like jelly slugs, fudge flies, and jelly beans in every flavor. I got some chocolate frogs and some jelly beans. Candy wasn't the only thing that had caught my eye, there was a large family of redheads in the store with us. Before I was able to get a closer look at the group, Mother had ushered me out ready to head home. 

The week of waiting was excruciating. I was quite excited to go, I was most excited to find out what house I'm going to get sorted into. There wasn't any way I was getting into Gryffindor, I'm not great at friends, and even though I came off as mean I don't think ill be a Slytherin either. 

Mother and Father insisted on dropping me off at the train station. After saying my goodbyes my toad, Sunshine, and I started walking to the platform between 9 and 10. On my way, I got weird stares from strangers but I didn't mind, but when I got there I saw the same family from Honeydukes and they were talking to a boy with shaggy hair and crooked glasses. I waited until they had gone through to go. I was a little nervous about running into a wall, I looked around and quick run at the wall. When I got through I looked around and everyone was chattering excited among each other. Before anyone had a chance to speak to me I got on the train and found a nice empty car to sit in.
