Hazel

written by Luna Longbottom

This is book is my own magical world that I thought of all by myself. You'll also notice some of the names are interesting and I would definitely encourage you to look up their meanings because some of them have cool meanings like Oliver means elf warrior and thanks to that that's where the creature came to mind. I was also the author of "World of Magic" but it isn't very good and I wouldn't recommend it. I have been meaning to fix everything but haven't done it yet. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and sorry if the grammar or spelling is incorrect.

The Girl Called Hazel

Chapter 1

Tom and Laurissa were a happy couple with a little girl called Hazel. One day as Hazel was playing in the family’s garden picking her mother dandelions, she heard her mother scream along with two huge thuds. She quickly ran inside to go see what the matter was. She ran into the cottage and found both of her parents on the floor covered in blood and not breathing, their blank eyes staring off into a land far away. Hazel kissed her parents and lay next to them thinking she would never leave their sides. Her father coughed heavily and turned his head toward his only child. He looked into her big green eyes and said:

“Hazel? Mummy and Daddy aren't going to make it. You need to grab essentials and leave. Do you understand me pumpkin?”

“Yes Daddy, but where do I go?”

“The safest place you can possibly think of. If you can’t think of anywhere, I know someone will be there to help you pumpkin.”

Tom coughed and a teardrop trickled down Hazel’s cheek. Tom reached up to her face and wiped away her tear and smiled. Tom made one last breath and with that he turned his head. Hazel knew now both his parents were surely dead now, so she took one last look at them and went up to her room and grabbed everything she could possibly think would be essential to keep and with that left the home forever.
