The magical journey chapter 1:The Hogwarts letter: I sat in my room reading the chronicles of Narnia. There was a knock on the front door and I went downstairs to see who it was. A giant of a man was standing in the doorway. He introduced himself as rubious Hagrid the groundskeeper at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. He handed me a letter and it read: dear Miss Foreman, we are pleased to inform you that you have been excepted at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Please find enclosed all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1 and the Hogwarts express leaves kings cross station at platform 9 3/4 at 11 AM. We await your owl no later than July 31. Yours sincerely, Professor M McGonagle Deputy headmistress. There was also a book list containing books such as magical drafts and potions, 1000 magical herbs and fungi, the standard book of spells grade 1, and the dark forces a guide to self protection to name a few. I couldn’t believe this was happening. I was a witch and I was going to school to learn magic. I couldn’t wait. Hagrid told me that he would be taking me to Diagon Alley to buy my school supplies. I said goodbye to my parents and followed Hagrid out the door. I couldn’t wait for what the future would hold.
