I guess you could call me an aspiring Magizoologist. Why? Because I am fascinated by the existence of magical creatures. Their social lives, mating habits, territories they inhabit and their influence on the world we live in. For example, the uses of  their "dung". Dragon dung is incredibly useful since it can fertilize corps and  even be used in waste management if properly broken down and the acid is extracted. But I will stop there since I will most likely go off on the usefulness of dragon Dung.

On my first night at Hogwart against the instruction of the head master and professors I found myself on the outskirts of the grounds staring face to face with the forbidden forest. Honestly it would have been criminal for me not to step inside since I had already gotten so close to its trees. With my wand drawn I cast the Lumis charm, a spell that we all know illuminates the end of the wand giving off a source of light. What happen next I did not expect. As I explored the forbidden forest I noticed a sort of singing that got louder and louder, it wasn't singing in a human language or any language I had heard before but rather in a rhythmic fashion. As the singing got louder and louder it suddenly stopped and was replaced by the dead silence of the forest. 

Naturally I thought I had fallen prey to one of the many creatures that call the forbidden forest home. But I was wrong, I was very quickly surrounded by small translucent creatures who seemed to be drawn to the Lumis charm. They were about three inches tall and varied in weight. They had small bright yellow eyes that seemed to be some what hypnotized by the light in addition it seemed like they were unable to torch the lights source since all attempts to do so ended with a puff of smoke and a very said little creature reappearing into sight staring at his small hand. What there exact purpose in the forbidden forest is lost to me and I am unsure as to if they are native to this area or do they exist in all forest throughout our world.
