It's a Definite Kind of Love (A Blackinnon Fanfiction)
Ever since that one kiss, something had changed between them. They were more comfortable with each other. They cared for each other (mostly... sometimes... 70% of the time... 60%...) They actually tried hard for each other. This is the story of Sirius Black and Marlene McKinnon. WARNING: There are mentions of violence in this story. If it is a trigger, feel free to close this book. All credits go to J.K. Rowling except for my OCs. Please keep in mind that I do not support her views on the LGBTQIA+ community, as I am part if that community myself. Thanks for taking the time to read. Kay Guys, Ima Go Punch Her
Chapter 4
By the time Marlene had figured out the code, she thought it might have been too late.
But she had to go. Sirius was in trouble.
The P.S. he had written was in pig latin. It had said, "eadray ethay irstfay etterlay ofyay everyyay entencesay aboveyay". That translated to, "Read the first letter of every sentence above."
So Marlene did that. She came up with four letters- H E L P.
So Marlene did that too.
She didn't spend time trying to clarify the situation by sending more letters to him.
Marlene just grabbed her satchel and stuffed a water bottle, a packet of cookies, and a jacket.
Marlene turned to her closet and hesitated- should she bring her brother's broomstick? She didn't know how to fly one.
But she needed to get to Sirius QUICKLY.
So she scribbled a quick note on a piece of parchment to her parents and left it on her desk.
Marlene slung her backpack around her shoulders.
She opened her window.
She mounted her broom
"Here goes nothing," she muttered.
And Marlene kicked off from the window.
