It's a Definite Kind of Love (A Blackinnon Fanfiction)
Ever since that one kiss, something had changed between them. They were more comfortable with each other. They cared for each other (mostly... sometimes... 70% of the time... 60%...) They actually tried hard for each other. This is the story of Sirius Black and Marlene McKinnon. WARNING: There are mentions of violence in this story. If it is a trigger, feel free to close this book. All credits go to J.K. Rowling except for my OCs. Please keep in mind that I do not support her views on the LGBTQIA+ community, as I am part if that community myself. Thanks for taking the time to read. Um... Yup... Still More Doom
Chapter 19
Warning: Mentions of curse words, but they will be starred out.
Marlene hadn't had the will to get up that morning.
Lily and Alice had decided to spare her feelings and lie to all her teacher that she was feeling very ill that day.
Alice had even gone up to Madam Pomfrey to tell her a brief summary of the truth so Marlene could have an alibi for that day. Fortunately, Madam Pomfrey understood and didn't mind.
Lily and Alice visited her bed with a plate of warm buttered toast for her to eat when she felt up to it.
Lily also mentioned that, "Don't worry, Marls, I kicked Sirius' *** this morning. Still hasn't gotten rid of the blonde hair and acne."
"I love you two so much," sighed Marlene to them quietly.
Lily and Alice just smiled to themselves and left her for the rest of the day.
After some time, Marlene gave up and let the nostalgic feelings come through. She walked over to her drawer and opened a cupboard from where she pulled out a scrapbook.
Alice made that scrapbook for their times at Hogwarts, adding a picture everytime something new happened.
As soon as she saw a picture of Lily, Alice, Marlene, and Remus, Marlene felt a tear prick the back of her eye. This was back in their- what- third year?
They all looked so happy with no worries to bother them.
Marlene wished she could go back to that world.
Marlene's POV from this part on:
Alice forgot I was taking a picture of her and instead transferred her gaze to Remus, who was coincidentally standing behind me.
And Lily was trying to make me and Alice put away the camera in this one.
James was being clueless as usual in this picture I had to take to taunt Lily with...
And Remus, once again, looking at Alice... they really are my favorite couple.
And then there was all of the idiots napping having Alice take a picture of them back in our 5th year.
All of these old photos brought back memories. Those tears that had pricked my eyes were now ready to fully flow.
I shut the book with a thud and put it away silently.
I think I've had enough nostalgia for one day.
A/n: Marlene wasn't the only one who cried... I saw so many sad Marauders pictures while finding these ones.
sobs profusely
