ADVANTAGES:

• During a duel, it may be partiularly useful to have knowledge of the differences between various types of wood when selecting a certain spell to cast upon your opponent.


• Healers require a sufficent herbological education to ensure mix ups do not occur when treating patients with various medicinal plants.


• Both potioneers and healers need to have the ability to identify various hazardous plant types and ensure they are quickly dealt with. 

TERMINOLOGY:

• Herbology includes the study and use of both magical and non-magical plants.


• A herbologist refers to a witch or wizard who has confidence in their understanding of the unique properties and nature of plants, and uses said knowledge to positively impact the world.
