To Store:

The Magic Antivenom should be stored in a warm to hot environment. The amount of light or humidity
does not impact the antivenom’s shelf life or efficacy. It can be stored for up to three years before losing its potency.

To Use:

The Magic Antivenom should be applied to the site of the bite or sting. Approximately 15 to 30 ml should be used, dabbed onto the injury with a clean rag, however much is needed to completely cover the injury. Essence of dittany can then be applied in addition, as necessary, and the injury should then be covered with a clean bandage or cloth.

The potion should not be ingested - while it will not cause the user any ill effects, it will not help treat the venomous bite or sting. This antivenom is safe to use on children, the elderly, those with immune deficiency problems, and pregnant women. It can also be used to treat injuries of some magical beasts, although this should not be done without consultation of an appropriately-licensed magizoologist.

Effects:

While lingering nausea may occur, swelling, nausea, dizziness, and other symptoms associated with the
venomous bite or sting should abate within ten minutes of applying the antivenom to the site of the injury. A tingling or mild burning sensation may occur, and this is normal.
