Chapter 3: it was finally September 1 then we would go to Hogwarts today, we got up at around 7 AM and ate breakfast. We then headed to Kings cros due to the fact that we wanted to get there as early as possible so that we would have time to board the train. we arrived at kingscross sometime later and both took trolleys and we put our trunks on them. The letter had said that we should walk through the wall between platforms nine and 10. I walked quickly through what I presumed to be the entrance to the platform. I stepped onto the platform and was greeted by one of the most amazing sites. There in all it’s glory stood the Hogwarts express. It was a red steam engine with a sign on it written in gold which read the Hogwarts express. We carried our trunks onto the train and hugged our parents goodbye. We went down the Corredor to find a compartment. We found one with two other girls. We knocked and they told us to enter. They introduced themselves as Susan bones and Hannah Abbet. We took seats across from them. They helped us put our trunks onto the luggage rack. They were pure blood witches and we told them that we were Muggle born. They didn’t seem to have a problem with it. The train began to move in about half an hour into the trip someone knocked on our door. We opened it to reveal a woman with a trolley full of sweets. Hannah and Susan bought a little of everything. We tried to pay them back but they insisted that they buy for us. There were chocolate frogs which were chocolate shaped like a frog which was enchanted to hop around until you bit into it. They were cards with famous witches and wizards. I got Albus Dumbledore the headmaster of Hogwarts. We then tried the Bertie Botts every flavor beans. When they said every flavor they literally meant every flavor. I took a green one and hesitantly popped it into my mouth. It was green apple which I loved. suddenly the door was thrown open and end walked a girl with a pug face with a large girl which presumably was her friend. What are you doing with blood traders? Ask the girl. Excuse me? Blood traders are pure bloods that don’t believe that they are better than anyone else said Hannah. You’ll soon find that some families are better than others said the girl. You don’t want to go making friends with the wrong sort. she held out her hand, my name is Pansy Parkinson and this is Millicent Bulstrode. I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself I said coldly. She turned red watch it Johnson. She said Nastily. They stomped out of the compartment slamming the door. Eventually we put on our robes and the train finally pulled in to a platform. We exited the train and followed a man who seem to be a giant. Hannah said that he was half giant and that he was Hagrid, game keeper at Hogwarts. We reached the edge of the lake and found a fleet of boats. Four to a boat. He called. We got into a boat together and started gliding across the lake. We got our first side of Hogwarts which is a grand castle with many towers. It looked beautiful. Once we reached shore we walk through the grounds and up to the front door. Hagrid raised his fist and knocked. The door opened to Reveal a stern looking woman with a green robe and a wizard Hat. Thank you Hagrid she said I’ll take them from here. She introduced herself as Professor McGonagall. She took us to a set of double doors which led into the great Hall. She said that we would be sorted into our houses there. I was nervous but I also knew that everything would be all right.
