Out of Context! centers around a game called Raconteur. There are several other game modes, but Raconteur is the main one, and the only one we will use for the Gala. To play Raconteur, participants must first each enter a starting sentence to a story. Then, once everyone has written their first sentence, each participant sees another participant’s sentence, and continues the story. Then they see someone else’s SECOND line, and have to continue the story without any other context (hence the name Out of Context!). Eventually, there will be as many completed stories as there are participants. Participants may also choose to spectate, and simply watch the stories unfold instead of partaking in writing them themselves.
