We'll start from the first lecture. Professor Draekon may seem mean but he is not its just the way he is that makes him seem very edgy, creepy, and mean.

 You will need to keep your past notes because they will come in handy. Professor Draekon isnt very mean hes just strict. As a first year you will be focusing on Fondations of Potions Class. 

 You do have a dress code and its mandatory, close toed shoes, no bulky garments, no jewelry, if you have long hair make sure to pin it back, and wear gloves and goggles.

 Starting in your second year you will have the option to write a 1,000 word essay once a year for extra credit. It is optional so it is not mandatory at all. For quizzes, usually short responses and true or false questions. Starting in 3rd year you may start having to do outside research (for everything not just quizzes, essays and quizzes).
