Chapter 15
Despite the excitement of Molly's new wand, she did not want to learn magic just yet. After all, Pamela wanted to see her. Unless it was a joke? But would Pam do that? No, she would go too the spare room and see what Pamela wanted.
"Hey! Molls!" Called June "Pam wants you!"
Molly felt irritable. She knew that already. But June added with a lisping whisper
"Don't go!"
Then she grinned and turned away face telling nobody she had uttered another word. But Molly had too. All eyes were on her, so she stalked out of the room and took the lift to the very top of the house leaving June disgruntled.
"Molly?" Whispered a small but distinct voice. "In the spare room. Quick!"
Molly glanced around her and heard the lift ding. Someone was coming. In just a blink of an eye, she was locked in the spare room with Pamela McField.
"Listen I thought I should give you some advice." Said the thin lanky girl "Stop going around with June and Martha. We used to be friends you know but they thought I.. Well anyway hey won't stay loyal with you or friends."
Mollys brows furrowed like they did whenever she was thinking. I mean Martha didn't earn quite so much respect as most prefects but she dismissed this easily.
"Pam what do you mean?" Asked Molly thirsty for more information
Pamela just looked at her solemnly.
"They think your awfully weak Molly! They... they... there just mean and decietful okay!" Pam burst out
Molly felt a burst of anger a balloon of anger swell up in my chest. Anger aimed at Pamela.
"That's not true at all Pam! They've been nicer to me then anyone else. Especially you making up such lies like that!"
Leaving Pam looking distraught, Molly unlocked the door and stormed out not noticing June looking highly amused on the other side of the corridor.
Then, not long after that Mrs Stebbins called.
"Beginners in the training room please for your first session!"
Molly jumped up delighted. She was unsure about training after watching the warts that were on Mathildes face after duelling June but Martha reassured her saying,
"Oh you won't be starting with curses Molly you'll just start of with the simple stuff."
So confidently, Molly ran from the room with a few other nervous looking beginners to the training room to start there first session.
