There was another shriek but this time of laughter. Two other girls had walked in and saw Nickis neon orange face and dropped theirs quills in shock. Then they laughed uncontrollably tears streaming down their laughing faces.

"Who? Did....... Who did...... Who did that?" Wheezed one of the giggling girls.

Nickis face was like thunder. She pointed to Molly and scowled. Even Martha the Prefect had trouble hiding her smile.

"Finite!" She whispered pointing her wand at Nicki and with a little puff Nickis skin was as tanned as it always was.

"How Dare You!" Screetched Nicki rounding on the shaking girl and drawing her wand "Langlo-"

"Protego!" Martha cried hastily causing a visible barrier to form between Nicki and Molly.

Now Nicki could not nothing but glare and scream insults.

"Shut up Nicki!" A woman barked. Mrs Stebbins.

One of the girls piped up

"It's not all Nickis fault newbie turned her face neon orange!"

"She was provoked Mrs Stebbins! And it's not fair because Nicki asked to see her magical abilities so that's what she did!" Martha cut in hotly

"I'll decide that for myself Martha. Molly let's start wth you."

Molly pored out her story and with disapproved assitance from Martha. After they had finished Mrs Stebbins turned to Nicki

"She hasn't even started Hogwarts yet Nicki. It jut wasn't precise enough a sentence. Now, leave her be Martha stick close to her." Mrs Stebbins ordered

Nicki opened her mouth to argue but three different owls zoomed through the window. A brown tawney owl flew  down to Molly dropped a letter addressed to her and followed the other owls to the next room.

Molly stared at the letter uncertainly. Who was it from? Marnie? No, It can't be! She dosen't know where I live! Samuel? He would have sent it too Poppys home and sent it here? But why the wait? Harper? Maybe they gave her my new address? bBut that wasn't her childish scrawl. It was an old-fashioned, loopy handwriting.

"Ooh, Molly! It's your letter!" Squealed Martha enthusastically. "Open it quick!"

So Molly did fumbling with the envelope and easing the butterbeer stained letter out. It read,

Dear Molly Denses

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

"Goodness gracious! We need all this?" Molly gasped "And Hogwarts?"

Martha laughed even Mrs Stebbins gave a begrudging smile. 

"Hogwarts is the boarding school of magic you will attend yes, the things you can make happen is indeed magic." Mrs Stebbins explained seeing Mollys stunned, wide eyed expression.

"Wow... Will I see Harper there too? And Martha and Vicki?" Asked Molly agog

"You will not see Vicki. She is a squib." Replied Mrs Stebbins looking at Vicki sadly. "She helps me out with the cooking and washing."

Vicki had turned a maroon colour and Molly felt symphatic and didn't question any more.

"Now Vicki go find the other girls it's dinnertime!" Ordered Mrs Stebbins briskly stalking out the room. Martha left too
