Lesson Nine: Review & Finals Study Guide

Chapter 10

Runic magic is very secure & its magic doesn't decrease over a period of time. Runic magic is powerful, which is why curse-breakers come across it often. These strengths are from the runic magic's endurance to last longer. If you get distracted while casting enchantments on your symbols, your spells will turn out dull & unstable. Even though runic magic does not disappear, it can be weak when tampered with. Paper or items that can be smashed & torn to pieces should not be used for creating runes.

If another's magic is quite near while you are casting upon your runes, it can cause your enchantments to alter in unreliable situations. Runic magic must be used on natural items. If you were to inscribe runes on a blade & aim to cast enchantments on it, the magic will not last long. Materials such as plant parts, hills, or animal hides are common natural items to cast runic magic. You can use non-natural materials to cast rune magic, however you will need life-giving fluids such as blood to strengthen its magic.
