Lesson Four: Why We Care About the A.M.E.

Chapter 4

All magic comes from stars. Our Sun is the main source in our solar system. The Moon and planets absorbed magic as they formed 4.5 billion years ago.

Astronomical bodies modify magic that they reflect. The A.M.E. is the amount of magical effect a non-light producing object has on another planet. The equation includes the following variables - Distance from sun, angular size, albedo, phase, and interference. Generally, a large A.M.E means more magical effect. It was developed by Dr. Ayesha Mansour.

Mercury - Creative influence, problem solving, inspiration

Venus - Importance of feelings

Mars - Harbinger of danger, blood, and battle

Jupiter - Appearance of unstopable forces

Saturn - Empathy, perspective, thoughtful consideration

Uranus - Individual thoughts, change

Pluto - Life cycles, repetition
