Y/n was basically a squib. She hardly did any magic, but even though she couldn't do it most of the time...

When she did do magic, it was powerful as Merlin himself.

She was what witches and wizards called a Magicae Non Habet. 

At first, Y/n had thought that was kinda cool, to be super rare- but nooooooooo. It made her life so much worse. She couldn't participate in classes and do any fun stuff. 

Her life was sucky. That's the easy way to describe it... 

It all started when she was 3...

"Mom!" yelled Y/n. 

Mrs Prewett turned. She was wearing a thin-strap dress made of a kind of floaty material. 

At that time, Y/n and her mother lived in the Caribbean. They were on a... mission, you could say. Perhaps the word quest is better. 

"What is it, hon?" she asked. 

Y/n held up a piece of paper that looked like a document- like an obituary in a newspaper.

"Who is-" Y/n checked the document- "Fabian Prewett-" She checked the obituary again. "And why is he supposed to be dead?"
