Chapter 9: The end?
He stepped into the cave, looking for the Basilisk.
He lit the tip of his wand, and he saw the Basilisk. Salazar had only brought his wand, Pheonix tear bottles, and the locket.
The Basilisk immediately struck, but Salazar dodged.
Salazar tried to calm him down with parseltongue, but it wouldn't listen.
And it bit his right arm. The pain was terrible, and he let go of his wand in the pain.
He quickly unscrewed the bottle and put the tears on his wound.
He was panicking.
He couldn't grab his wand or the Basilisk would get him.
Then he noticed his locket lighting up. He was confused, but then he realized it.
He had said the incantation to the wand lighting charm.
¨STUPEFY!¨
But it was Salazar this time.
His locket let out a stream of a red jet. It hit the basilisk in the throat. The Basilisk fell.
Not dead, but he lost.
Salazar took him to his chamber.
Nerezza of Aosta turned into Nerezza Slytherin.
And Salazar Slytherin was in every history book.
And the entire time Salazar was alive, he never took off the locket.
