Chapter 2: Costa Rica
Salazar Slytherin was in a good mood. Today was the day he was waiting for. He was going to get the Basilisk.
He told the other founders of Hogwarts that he was going on holiday.
Godric and Helga believed it, but Rowena was more suspicious of what he was really doing.
¨Where are you going?¨
¨Costa Rica.¨
¨Why?¨
¨I don't know. It's nice I guess.¨
She didn't press him further, but he knew she was still suspicious of him.
He said goodbye and he apparated to Costa Rica.
The sun was immediately in his eyes. He couldn't see for a second until he saw tropical trees and beautiful waterfalls.
He saw a cave. It was on a mountain.
It was completely black
No sign of any life.
Salazar immediately started towards the cave, not caring to take any precautions. He climbed up the mountain. He knew this was it. How easily he could find the Basilisk made him suspicious.
But he didnt think twice.
He pulled out his wand and muttered, ¨Lumos.¨
He saw it. It was completely black. It was huge. Its head was pulled back, ready to strike. Salazar tried to speak Parseltounge, but it was too late.
The Basalisk striked.
