The chosen one and the philosopher’ stone chapter 2: diagon alli. The next morning at 8 o’clock Professor McGonagall arrived to take me to Diagon Alley. We Used a form of magical transportation called apparition. It felt like being squeezed through a tube. Upon arrival at Charing Cross Rd. she led me to a pub with a sign that read: the leaky cauldron. We walked into the leaky cauldron past the bar and out the back door where Professor McGonagall tapped a series of bricks. The bricks slid decide to reveal a bustling Diagon alley. There were many shops which sold things such as cauldrons, wands, books, potion supplies, and robes just to name a few. She directed me to a snowy white building which had a sign on it which read: Gringgotss Wizarding bank. We walked into the building and Professor McGonagle led me to a counter where there is it short creature behind the counter. She informed me that they were goblins. She looks a goblin in the face and asked for some money from the Muggleborns fund. The goblin summoned another goblin who ran down to presumably where the bolts were. He came back a few minutes later holding a sack full of galleons which were gold coins. After thanking the goblins we left the bank and went to another shop call Madam Malkins robes for all occasions. I entered the shop and was greeted by Madam Malkin herself. She let me over to a stool which I climbed upon and the seamstress started measuring me. I turn to the girl next to me and introduce myself. Hello, my name is Eileen Freeman. I introduced. My name is Hermione Granger. She didn’t seem too affected by my fame which I was grateful for. We began talking about classes and what we hoped Hogwarts would be like. Once the seamstress was done I waved goodbye to Hermione and left the store. The rest of the trip passed very quickly. We bought Books, potion supplies, and my wand which is made up of Holly and phoenix feather. The only downside was my wand was made from the same Phoenix which gave Lord Voldemort his feather. Professor McGonagall also bought me a cat which I named Aslan. She then took me back to the leaky cauldron where I tried butter beer for the first time. It was delicious. All in all it was a great trip.
