It's A Different Kind of Like (A Blackinnon Fanfiction)
Whoo! It's been a mouthful for the Marauders, navigating throughout their journey. They battle life, love, and just a little sprinkle of magic here and there. All credits go to JK Rowling except for my own characters. (Please keep in mind that I do not support her views on the LGBTQIA+ community- I'm part of that community myself!)

My Doggo
Chapter 4
"Marleneeeeeeeee... McKinnonnnnnnnnnnnnn..."
"SHUT UP BLACK OR YOU'LL BE GETTING A LOT WORSE THAN A BAT BOGEY HEX!" Marlene and Sirius were engaged in a full on prank war, though what Sirius was doing now wasn't exactly a prank.
"BLACK IF YOU DON'T STOP PRETENDING TO BE A GHOST I WILL PERSONALLY BRING PEEVES HERE AND HIRE HIM TO THROW CREAM PIES AT YOU!"
Of course, Sirius didn't listen. But he did stop pretending to be a ghost. Instead, he started to pretend being a dog. Well- you know what I mean...
Marlene thought Sirius had brought a dog and 'released' it towards Marlene, probably thinking that she was scared of dogs.
Hah! Me, scared of dogs? I love dogs! That Black is sure an idiot, she thought. Marlene smirked a bit as the dog gallivanted around her feet.
She reached out and scratched the dog behind the ears. Then she stroked the dog's back gently. The 'dog' turned on its back and Marlene scratched it's stomach too.
Marlene picked up the dog gently. She walked to where Sirius was hiding before.
"Black?" she called out. "Take your dog back! She was pretty cu-" Marlene glanced at the dog. "He was pretty cute to play with!"
No answer, of course. Marlene sighed, guessing that Sirius was up in the dormitories. But she checked there. She only saw James reading 'The Tales of Beedle the Bard'. He looked up when he saw Marlene standing there with a black dog in her arms.
"You know where Sirius is?" Marlene asked, not noticing the look of utter dread upon James' face.
James shook his head frantically.
"No- no, but you can leave his dog here," he said quickly. "I'll call Sirius and you can go back."
"No, I wanted to talk to Black too, so-"
"Talk to him later, McKinnon, just leave the dog here!" said James loudly.
Marlene jumped. She looked angry at James for almost making her fall down.
"Rude," she said.
"The dog has the flu?" suggested James.
"Nice try," said Marlene, now convinced that Sirius had run off somewhere without his dog. "Where is Black?"
James shrugged, this time convincingly. "He sometimes leaves without telling anyone. It's kinda his thing."
Marlene looked convinced and went to leave the dormitory. The dog peeked over her shoulder.
James gave him a I'm sorry look.
