It's A Different Kind of Like (A Blackinnon Fanfiction)
Whoo! It's been a mouthful for the Marauders, navigating throughout their journey. They battle life, love, and just a little sprinkle of magic here and there. All credits go to JK Rowling except for my own characters. (Please keep in mind that I do not support her views on the LGBTQIA+ community- I'm part of that community myself!)

Alice Knows All
Chapter 3
"Potter," said Lily slightly threateningly. "Why is Sev purple?"
The Marauders and Lily, Alice, and Marlene were standing outside the Charms room, their class having finished five minutes previously. In those five minutes, Marlene had chased Sirius and James all around the castle screaming and cursing at each other. Both Sirius and James had gotten detention, but they still refused to turn Snape... un-purple. And Lily was absolutely furious.
"Potter," she said again. "This is your last chance to tell me why Sev is purple."
But James didn't answer. Remus and Peter stood behind Marlene, not wanting to get involved, but James and Sirius always did involve them, whether they liked it or not.
Remus turned to Alice. "This is normal," he said quietly, hoping the scene playing out in front of them wouldn't scare her.
Alice was a very shy and calm person but very nice when you got to know her. But Alice didn't seem to mind much.
"It's fine," she said in the same quiet tones. Alice brushed back a loose strand of black hair from her long braid. Her blue eyes glinted in the darkness of the corridor. "Marlene will end up punching Sirius anyways and Lily will say that she's gonna let James and Sirius go just this once because she really doesn't wanna hex them." She said all this in a calm tone as though it was common knowledge.
Remus looked surprised that Alice knew so much about her friends. He smiled weakly and reached into a pocket in his robes. Remus pulled out a chocolate bar and broke it in half, handing half of it to Alice.
Alice smiled back, grinning with her two slightly misshaped two front teeth.
And while this sweet moment of friendship was happening, back in reality, Marlene was cursing at Sirius and she punched him too.
Alice was very right about the events playing out here.
Lily rolled her eyes at the two troublemakers and gave them a #severelilylecture. Not fun, by the way.
And Alice and Remus continued munching on chocolate. Because chocolate is the best, right?
A/N: Peter just kinda stood in a corner, having no true friends and being a little dolt with no love in his life.
I REALLY don't like Peter.
AHHHHH THANKS FOR ALL THE READS I NEARLY FELL OFF MY CHAIR WHEN I SAWWWWWWW-
And if you guys think there is- ah- slight chemistry with Remus and Alice, that is very true. Because I like their pair and no one's stopping me! (And I know I'm gonna have to make out a way for Alice and Frank to happen, but for now Almus (or Relice?) is good. :)
