Brief Interlude From Lils, Mar-Mar, and Alice in Wonderland
Chapter 20
"Ok, let's get to the point." Lily smiled. "We are here to thank you for your-"
"Ahem," cut in Marlene. "That's not how you start a speech."
"Oh, really?"
"Yeah." Marlene tried her most sassiest tone.
While they continued arguing in the back, Alice laughed quietly.
"Hi," she said. "Like Lily and Marlene were saying, we really wanna thank you guys for reading this fanfiction and we love you all so so soooo much." Alice looked proud of herself. "SEE THAT?! THAT'S HOW YOU MAKE A SPEECH!"
Marlene and Lily smirked.
"Fine," said Marlene a bit grumpily. "But I still get credit for the speech idea."
"No, actually, I do," Sirius said, slipping into the room and bowing to no one in general. "Hi childs. It is nice to meet you."
Marlene bowed to her too. "I am childs. She is childs too."
"Yesh."
"Wha-?" Lily looked confused. "This conversation is a trainwreck."
"I agree," piped up Alice.
Sirius ruffled Marlene's hair.
"Oh no," gulped Lily. "If you're here, then he's-"
"Lily bear!" James entered the room with his arms spreaded out.
"Oh sh-" Lily was cut off by Alice clearing her throat very loudly.
"On 3, 2, 1-" James said to Sirius. "GO!"
They both ruffled Marlene and Lily's hair. Marlene didn't seem to mind much, but Lily nearly punched James.
Then Remus came in too. "Hi Alice," he said with a smile.
"Hi Remus," she said and smiled back. She pecked him on the cheek.
Everyone stopped to watch.
"Oh my Godric," sighed Alice. "Are we really that interesting?"
"Yeah, you kinda are, Al," said Marlene.
"But really, thank you so much for all these reads and have a wonderful day or night, wherever you are, everyone!" Lily ended this off with a smile.
And then Marlene ruined it. "MUD DONUTS WITH POO ARE GREAT-"
"MARLENE!!!"
"AHHHHHH HELP SHE'S GONNA KILL MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
And we'll just leave that off there, I'm gonna assume. So... what's new with you guys? I just recently got a puppy who is currently trying to eat my glasses. She's an adorable but also energetic pup. If you guys have any tips on how to handle a dog, I would really appreciate it. And remember Marlene's wise words: "Eeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh-"
