Marlene slumped onto her bed. "That was exhausting."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN EXHAUSTING WHAT HAPPENED?!" Lily squealed.

"Stop-" groaned Marlene. "Your voice- It's too- too- squealy."

Alice giggled. "But really, what did happen, Mar?"

Marlene smirked to herself. "Not much. We ate some pastries in the kitchens. Went to the astronomy tower to stargaze-"

"STARGAZING- THERE WAS A KISS THEN, WASN'T THERE?!" Lily didn't look like she could hold her excitement. 

"I know Lils, I'm getting to that part," sighed Marlene. "We were sitting for some time on this fluffy blanket he conjured. Then- well- you know-"

"A KISSSSSSSS AHHHHHHHHHHHHH-" Lily and Alice jumped up and down together. 

"Stop itttttttttt..." groaned Marlene. "You're acting like a Lily confronted with a James."

Lily squinted at Marlene. "If that's what you think, Mar- then- then- you're wrong- yeah- yup-"

Marlene and Alice exchanged a swift smirk which Lily missed by a quick second.

"I don't think she's kidding though, Lils," said Alice with a knowing smile. "You know the saying, opposites attract."

Lily faked a cough. "Remus-cough cough- and you- cough cough- I ship it-"

The three friends talked and laughed all night.

Meanwhile in the boys dorm, James, Remus, and Peter were pestering Sirius for info on how his date went.

"Shush- bup- no- I wanna sleep-" Sirius kept complaining. "And we kissed ONCE. Nothing even big."

"BUT SHE KISSED YOU," argued James loudly.

"I kissed her. I don't think she kissed me."

"WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?!"

"I dunno."

Remus sat in the back with a book and a smile. He knew James would never let go of this. And he knew Sirius would never stop denying the entire date. And he would spent his time watching all this go by and knowing that... well... it would all turn out just fine... right?
