It's A Different Kind of Like (A Blackinnon Fanfiction)
Whoo! It's been a mouthful for the Marauders, navigating throughout their journey. They battle life, love, and just a little sprinkle of magic here and there. All credits go to JK Rowling except for my own characters. (Please keep in mind that I do not support her views on the LGBTQIA+ community- I'm part of that community myself!)

OMG MY OTP
Chapter 15
"Lily..." said Marlene. "I'm heading out." She was dressed in a simple white tunic and a beige cardigan.

Lily swished around. "On a date?"
Marlene sighed and sat down. "Ok, don't tell this to anyone, Lils, but..." She took a deep breath. "I'm going on a date with Sirius."
Lily wasn't the type to squeal all the time, but this time, she did.
"Where? When? What are you wearing? WHY HAVEN'T YOU COMBED YOUR HAIR-"
"Shush," Marlene groaned. "It's just a one-time thing and it doesn't mean anything."
"I SHIP IT-"
"Shut up."
"YOU'RE GONNA BE MARRIED-"
"No."
"YOU'LL HAVE TINY ADORABLE BABIES EEEEEEEEEEEEHHH-"
"I- NO SHUSH- DISGUSTING, LILY!" Marlene mimicked vomiting.
"But seriously, though," said Lily. "You really have to comb your hair for this."
"No, Lily, my hair is a mess and it's staying that way."
"Fine, fine." Lily smiled. "Though, may I ask..."
"Yeah?"
"Do you- you know... like him?"
Tough question, Marlene thought. Depends. He was always an idiot, that would never change. But... there was something just about him- like a general aura- that was just exciting for her.
"Don't ever tell anyone... but..." Marlene took a deep breath. "I kinda do... like him."
Lily was silent for a whole 10 seconds. Marlene waited to see her reaction.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-" Lily squealed again.
"What's going o-" Alice had entered the dormitory, but was cut off immediately by Lily.
"SHE ADMITTED HER LOVE FOR BLACK-"
Alice squinted, confused. "What do you mean, her love?"
"I MEAN SHE'S GOING ON A DATE WITH SIRIUS BLACK-"
Alice smiled warmly. "I always knew," she said fondly.
"It's just ONE date, you guys," groaned Marlene. "It doesn't mean anything."
"Of course it does."
