"MARLENE FREAKIN' JUDICE MCKINNON-" shrieked Lily. "WHY  IN MERLIN'S BEARD WOULD YOU EVER LEAVE AND WORRY US?!" 

Marlene grinned widely at Lily. "I love your 'Marlene-I'm-not-kidding-I-will-kill-you' expression. It's just so-" She acted oike she was struggling to find a word. "Pure."

Lily was not amused. "Mar," she sighed. "Are you gonna tell us where you were and what you were doing, or what?"

"I am," soothed Marlene. "But before we start that-" she turned to Alice. "What's this I hear about Remus and y-"

Alice suddenly covered her ears. "NO MARLENE I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT-" she said loudly.

Marlene shrugged. "Ok. But I still ship it."

"MARLENE!"

"Ok, chill," said Marlene. "Well..."

And she told them everything. (Except the werewolf part *obsessive winking*)

Meanwhile in the boys dorm...

"PADFOOT DUDE WHY-" said James.

Sirius shrugged. "'Cause she's not a REALLY horrible human being. We've decided to be just acquaintances for the time being."

James stopped in his move to ruffle his hair. "Wait a second- wait a single freaking second- you like her, don't you?" Before Sirius could even deny it, James started to grin evilly.

"I for one, agree," said Remus, smiling.

"Yup!" agreed Peter.

"No-" said Sirius quickly, but James cut in.

"Sirius and McKinnon sitting in a tree-" said James.

"James-you-get-away-from-me-" interrupted Sirius.

"First come love, then comes marriage-" continued James with a grin.

"Then come Jamie with spinal cord damage," said Sirius, folding his arms triumphantly.

"Heh." Peter grinned.
