The most notable Horcrux user is Tom Marvolo Riddle, who was Voldemort. He pushed magic to its limits by making 7 Horcruxes. A ring, locket, diary, snake, cup, and diadem. The last one was inside of him. They were all destroyed by basilisks' fang, apart from Voldemort himself, killed by his own rebounding curse. The snake was notably killed by Neville Longbottom, who used Gryffindor's sword to behead the snake.
