(Part 2)

(Y/n’s pov)

I sat up in my bed. How had I gotten here? I looked around and saw Thomas and Mattheo out on the balcony. I got out of bed and nearly fell down again. My head hurt and the world was spinning around me. I put my hand on the wall and waited for the dizziness to end. Thomas came in and glanced at me “‘Are you ok?”

“Yeah, just dizzy” I replied “What happened, how did I get here?”

“You fainted” He explained

“Why did I faint, I felt fine?”

“Mattheo and I have been talking” He started “We think that the bracelet it causing it”

“How?”

“You have very powerful magic that at times can be uncontrollable” He looked down “I think the bracelet isn’t blocking you from using magic, it’s just keeping you from releasing your magic”

“So what you're saying that it is basically hurting me?”

“Yes” He shook his head, as if shaking off a thought “I have to go but I will be back as soon as possible. Don’t do anything stupid”

I rolled my eyes “Really? Cuz why would I ever do anything stupid?”

He left and I went out to Mattheo. I stood next to him for a minute, resting my elbows on the railing. He turned his head to see me “What’s on your mind?” He asked

“Nothing much”

“I know that look. Your planning something”

“Even if I was planning something and told you, you would just tell Thomas or he would get into your mind”

“You’re underestimating me”

I scoffed, “No, I’m thinking”

“What are you thinking about?”

“I need to go do something” I turned and headed for the door but Mattheo stopped me.

“Where are you going?”

I thought about not telling him but what would be the use of that? “The Forbidden Forest”

He nodded his head and a second later we were surrounded by trees “What are you looking for?”

“Miles” I replied

“Who?”

“Me” A voice replied from behind me. I turned to see Miles leaning against a tree tilting his head. Mattheo turned around too and saw him.

“Who are you?” He asked Miles

“Wouldn't you like to know?”

“Yes, I would”

“Well all you need to know is that I can help with your little problem”

“How?”

“The bracelet is sealed by a blood lock, therefore only people who are related to the person who locked it by blood, can take it off” He paused “And I’m most unfortunately related to the two idiots”

“A blood lock seems too basic for them, there has to be more”

“It is that simple to remove but there are side effects from removing the bracelet”

“Such as…”

“Well in Y/n's case, her magic is very powerful and always growing. When I remove the bracelet all that built up magic is going to be released and her magic might have gotten stronger in this short time and might become more uncontrollable then usual” He explained “Are you sure about this?”

“Don’t do it” Malachi warned, appearing next to him

“I’m older than you, you can’t stop me”

“But I’m more powerful,” He replied. He took out his wand and waved it at Miles then at Mattheo and they both fell to the ground. Malachi looked at me.

“What do you want?” I asked

“I don’t really want anything, your the one who wants something” He looked away for a second then back to my eyes “Just admit it”

I sighed “Let Theodore go”

“Are you willing to go in his place?”

“Yes, as long as you let him go”

“Deal”

He grabbed my hand and suddenly we were in a dark hallway. He pulled me down the hallway until we reached a set of double doors. He opened one of the doors and pushed me in. “I will be back with Emerson and then Theodore will be free to leave” He informed me before slamming the door shut.

I looked around the room and found Theodore sitting in one of the corners of the room “What are you doing here?” He asked, using the wall to stand up.

“Attempting to help you”

“I don’t need help, you shouldn’t of come”

“I couldn't live with myself if you died”

“Why not?”

“Because it would be my fault”

“How so?” He asked

“They wanted me, so they took you to get to me”

“And they succeeded in their plan, Y/n, you shouldn’t of came”

“I’m going to die anyway, your not dying anytime soon”

“What do you mean?”

“The bracelet, it’s basically slowly killing me”

The door opened again and Emerson and Malachi were standing in the doorway “Theodore you're free to go, Emerson will help you out” Emerson came in and grabbed Theodore and led him out. Malachi stepped into the room and shut the door behind him. He stared at me “Did Theodore tell you anything about what we did to him?” He asked, stepping closer by the second.

“No” I replied “What did you do to him?”

“Have you ever wondered why I have such strong magic?”

“Not really” I replied truthfully

“No? Hmm, Well,  Emerson and I are Siphoners meaning we can siphon magic from people to the point that if we siphon all their magic, they die. You're already dying, so it will just take all the more quicker”
