As students face another year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, we undergo another year of loss of two important subjects. Currently, as of a few years now, there has been a staff shortage in two critical subjects: Ancient Studies and History of Magic. Thankfully, Professor Wessex and Headmistress Oshiro are kindly filing in for these subjects at the moment, although they won’t be permanent professors in these subjects. 

As put in the application information by Headmistress Oshiro: 

‘In order to fill out the ranks of our staff once again, we have opened applications for professorship at Hogwarts is Here. We will be extending the normal application window past the two-week mark in order to ensure that we have a wide selection of qualified applicants to choose from. 

Please ensure you carefully consider this decision as it will require time, hard work, and dedication.’

The application forms will be attached to the bottom of the page for any interested candidates. Headmistress Oshiro also states to:

‘Please note, that the Headmistress does not normally teach History of Magic, nor is she leaving. She is simply filling in for questions until a new professor is hired. As an additional note, strong candidates will have finished most or all of the respective course already.’

As part of the application process, you will need to add the link to your Facebook page, if you have been a PA, two sample lessons, your rules and requirements and your origin. You don’t need a professional background but it is recommended. All you need for the application is to have completed the course you are applying for.
